Howdy everyone. Everything's going great here in Trenton and the whole team is pumped after our first night at Trenton Wesleyan. It's interesting to not have any idea what to expect this entire week and how that makes us turn to and depend on God even more. The youth group was smaller than what we had expected here in Trenton, but was awsome nonetheless. We started the evening off with a small game of football with the Roblin and Wesleyan crew which got us all pumped (and sweaty) for the rest of the night. There were a couple people before hand who were feeling somewhat discouraged during practice and before the actual event, myself included, but we prayed and told the devil to scram, and God really pulled through and the night when awsome. It was in these moments where we really saw God working through us and realized that we can't do any of this on our own. The worship, dramas, and testimonies came together awsome and Meredith spoke her very powerful and spirit led sermon about God's fire in our lives, with a slightly pyromaniac edge to it and it touched people. The small group of people at the event, totaling aroud twenty-five including the team, were really ingaged in the event and the words that Meredith spoke. A number of them came to the front to light their own symbolic candles, representing thier desire to be on fire for God! Meredith talked with a girl afterwards who broke down in tears, telling here that she wanted Jesus so badly in her life.
The teens at the group were awsome. I personally made a couple awsome connections with people and I think, in the end, the fact that the group was so small really allowed us to connect with the people there so much more and made everything we did so personal. It's just awsome for God to be using us like this and to really know that he is with us and how everything will come together in the end for the work of God! Jesus rocks!
We thank everyone for their continued prayers and for their support in this missions trip. We are all experiencing Jesus in our own ways through our services, prayer, and personal time with him. We ask for continued prayer for the rest of the trip and in particular Dusty as he's expereince the beginnings of a cold and the last thing we need is for his voice to go. So judt pray that Jesus would heal him and that Jesus would continue to knock down barriers in people's lives and punch the devil in the face!!
God bless, Lyn Wattam

Hi there Kingdom team. As I walk around my garden this morning with coffee in hand I have been praying for you-all (as Paul says).
Brittany reminded me to check out the blog so here I am.
Sounds like God is working through you and His word. Don't be discouraged but " Do all things without murmurings and disputings.
That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
Phil. 2, 14/ 15.
I will pray as I think of you in the days ahead.
